据央视新闻，当地时间7月8日，蒙古国总理奥云额尔登在乌兰巴托参加蒙古国经济论坛时表示，蒙古人民党将同民主党和另外一个政党展开合作，组建联合政府。
在上月举行的蒙古国国家大呼拉尔（议会）选举中，执政党蒙古人民党获得68个委员（议员）席位，民主党获得42席，其他三个政党和联盟获得16席。新一届国家大呼拉尔共有委员席位126个。
