2024年7月2日，微信公众号“天津城市管理”发布世纪钟维修提升通告：
为保证天津世纪钟安全稳定运行，从7月3日起对世纪钟进行维修提升、整体加固，工程预计9月中旬结束。维修提升期间世纪钟停止运行,感谢广大市民和游客的理解支持。
