本年度榜单的统计时间为2023年7月10日至2024年6月30日。
榜单显示：
Aroha/Te Aroha是最受欢迎的女孩名字，这一年度共有164人注册该名字。
Aroha在毛利语的意思是：喜爱、怜悯、关心、同情等等。
女孩（Kōtiro）名字榜单前十名：

2 Amaia
3 Maia
4 Anahera
5 Moana
6 Manaia
7 Ataahua
8 Marama

Ariki/Te Ariki是最受欢迎的男孩名字，共有111人注册该名字。
Ariki在毛利语的意思是：领导、首领、贵族、主人、土地所有者等等。

自2013年以来，内政部每年年末或年初持续发布毛利婴儿名字排行榜。
但从去年开始，榜单改期在毛利新年前后发布。
发布之前，榜单会送交毛利语委员会进行最终审查。
