湖北实证了，秦岭在3.5亿年以前竟然是海洋！近日，湖北地质科学研究院在十堰郧西县郧西大梁地区发现了泥盆纪珊瑚化石，由此证明，秦岭以前也是海洋。
秦岭是宝鸡以东最高大的山脉，主峰为太白山，位于宝鸡境内，海拔3771.2米。
李白《蜀道难》中，有“西当太白有鸟道”，指的就是太白山。
