3月13日，香山公园官微发布关于索道暂停运营的通告：
为进一步提升香山公园游览服务配套设施的硬件水平，给广大游客提供安全舒适的服务，香山索道自今年开始暂停运营，进行改造筹备工作，预计2025年底完成改造。新索道重新开放时间另行通告。
