美国专利商标局近日正式驳回人工智能公司OpenAI关于GPT的商标注册申请，理由是GPT的含义是生成式预训练转换器，这是一个较笼统的描述性术语，如果被注册成商标可能会阻止竞争产品的准确描述。OpenAI 辩称，它已经普及了GPT一词。此前，OpenAI的此类申请曾在2023年5月被驳回。
