王弘撰，华阴人，字文修，一字无异，号太华山史。监生，博学工书，对书画金石精鉴别。持反清复明之志，康熙十七年荐博学鸿词，坚辞不就。世居华山，有读易庐，著《易象图述》、《山志》、《砥斋集》等。顾炎武称王弘撰为“关中声气之领袖”。
