直播吧1月5日讯 魔术官方宣布，为庆祝成立35周年，球队将在北京时间2月14号赛后退役奥尼尔的32号球衣， 这将是魔术队史第一件退役的球衣。
这样一来，奥尼尔成为NBA历史第4位被至少3支球队退役球衣的球员（湖人、热火、魔术）。
此前三人分别是：
张伯伦、3支球队（勇士、76人、湖人）；
皮特-马拉维奇、3支球队（鹈鹕、爵士、老鹰）；
比尔-拉塞尔（联盟所有球队将永久退役6号球衣）。
