据台湾“中央社”，分析公司CCS Insight预测，因营收减少及竞争激烈，预计宏达电（HTC）2026年前将黯然退出VR产业，把知识产权卖给其他大公司。宏达电10月11日晚间回应称，“对此市场谣言与预测严正否认”，并表示HTC将与合作伙伴持续促进XR、AI、Blockchain及VIVERSE生态圈的进化及完备。
