谷歌于 I/O 2023开发者大会上宣布，旗下生成式人工智能机械人Bard由先前仅于英美地区开放试用，变成即日起全面开放予逾180个地区使用，惟当中并不包括中国大陆及中国香港。
根据Bard官方网站，Bard目前支援英文、日文、韩文三种语言和超过180个国家和地区，并指将以符合当地法规和AI原则的方式逐步扩展到更多国家和地区，料将来可支援40种语言。
目前，在香港地区访问Bard时会显示“Bard isn't currently supported in your country. ”（您所在的国家/地区当前不支持 Bard。）。
