据日经新闻等日本媒体2月17日消息，日本流媒体服务商U-Next和运营流媒体平台Paravi的竞争对手Premium Platform Japan（PPJ）宣布将于3月31日合并，旨在应对Netflix和亚马逊等海外流媒体巨头竞争。
合并后的公司将成为日本最大视频流媒体服务平台，总销售额超过800亿日元（约合5.93亿美元），付费用户数量超370万。
