近日，广西梧州市供销合作社联合社党组书记、理事会主任黄某明被绑架一案引发公众关注。黄某明曾任藤县县委书记，有媒体报道，网传他被绑架后，犯罪嫌疑人勒索3000万元，黄某明家属支付了1000万元。
2月10日晚，当地警方通报：网传“犯罪嫌疑人勒索3000万元，受害者家属支付1000万元赎金”等信息失实。
