There is a charming artistic conception in the poetry of the Turkish poetNurduran Duman, which is connected with the traditional Chinese aesthetics. It reminds us that there is a mysterious blood connection from China to Turkic in the ancient land of Asia and Europe. Of course, the poems of Duman are also modern, which can well modernize the ancient images. Her poems have distinct feminine colors. 纽都然·杜门简介

纽都然·杜门（Nurduran Duman ），土耳其当代著名女诗人、翻译家。1974年10月23日，出生于土耳其海峡畔的恰纳卡莱古城，现居伊斯坦布尔。她在八岁时写作第一首诗。她喜欢诗歌，所以她就成为诗人。她热爱大海，所以在土耳其技术大学获得了海洋工程和造船学位。她的第一部诗集是《失败的游戏》，获得了Cemal Süreya诗歌奖。在2010年，她出版了一本散文集《跟伊斯坦布尔对视》。她的第二部诗集是《咪降调》，出版于2012年。她同时是一个活跃的翻译家。

她把阿尔玛·亚历山大的长篇小说《女书的秘密》翻译为土耳其语，出版于2007年，是以中国女书文化的传奇演绎。她的诗歌已经被翻译为英文、中文、芬兰文、塞尔维亚文、保加利亚文、罗马尼亚文、斯洛伐克文、法文、德文、马其顿文等。包括在美国出版的英文诗集《半圆人生》（安德鲁·维塞尔斯译），在Versopolis 文学网出版的马其顿文诗集《纽都然诗选》，在中国《诗歌周刊》封面诗人发表的中文诗集《伊斯坦布尔的脚步》（曹谁译）。她用英文写的《文学的翻译促进和平》在芬兰的杂志上发表。她同时广泛参加多项国际文学活动，包括中国的鲁迅文学院首届国际写作计划。她被选为土耳其作家笔会主席团成员。她她同时是一个活跃的舞台剧女演员、导演。除了写作之外，现在她在土耳其花园城市大学教授“土耳其文学的社会分析”课程。

Wechat, whatsapp, telegram, skype, hangsout, messenger and social media accounts and of course emails… The world is very small now, we can connect very easily and we can touch each other very quickly. This gives us the opportunity to learn much more about other languages’ poetry. And this means the opportunity of translation. Literature translation is the key to the world peace. If the world peace wanted, every country should have a political programme of literature translation.

Literature Translation. With literature translation people from different countries can firstly have an idea about each other. When they read the other languages’ poetry and story they can see themselves in the other person’s shoes. They can see that the other person is also a mother, a father, a lover; also she has a heart, that heart can be broken too. That heart can be stopped too. When you read literature translation the other person can not be an alien or a “monster” to you… We can understand each other, forgive each other, love each other with the help of literature translation. Literature is the key to accept each other, and help ourselves to grow up, to develop. And if the World Peace wanted, the countries should have serious political programmes of Literature Translation.

If look at through the aspect of thermodynamics’ entropry; the closed systems lose their energy and they start to vanish. We can see that internet opens our systems’ doors and windows and creates a road for the new energy. And that means a new existence. I believe that the World is at the edge of that new existence.

On the other hand because of internet there are some problems in poetry issues that we should think and talk about. The quality of poetry reading and writing is effected by internet. Human nature has a specific speed. If a person reaches something very easily and without any effort, she may not, or rather she can not catch its value. Literature has a depth, and in that deepness we can find the real essence, we can learn or sense the layers of existence.

Because we can find the texts very easily by internet, we don’t give enough time to have a meaningful relationship with that text. Literature has the power to change the human being, literature leaves lasting impression on us, and leaves lasting scar on us. Especially poetry seeps into the secret places of our realm of existence. If we don’t try to be careful, we can lose that chance which literature and poetry can give us. Love is labor.

In the past people used to think that poets were holy people. They were like prophets to the crowds. Are we like prophets to the crowds now? No. Before internet and social media the poets were very rare and unapproachable, nowadays everyone can be a poet easily in social media. We see that people write something and publish it on their social media accounts and think that they are poets, and the followers of those people’s accounts think that the written thing is a poem. So who is the prophet? Where is she? And who is the editor? Where is the editor? The god of the prophet?..

过去人们常认为诗人是圣人。他们对大众来说就像是上帝的信使。我们现在像是上帝的信使吗？在互联网和社交媒体出现之前，诗人是非常罕见和不可接近的，现在每个人都可以在社交媒体上轻松地成为诗人。我们看到人们写了一些东西并在他们的社交媒体帐户上发表，认为他们是诗人，而那些人帐户的追随者认为写的东西是一首诗。那么谁是信使呢？她在哪儿？编辑在哪儿？谁是编辑呢？上帝的信使呢？
