12月28日，中国石化集团经济技术研究院发布《中国能源展望2060》报告。报告指出，中国能源转型在协调发展情景下，煤炭消费预计将在2024年左右达到40.8亿吨峰值，占比降至50%。发电耗煤在2025年前后达峰，石化化工煤耗在2030年前后达峰。
报告称，2025年-2030年是下降平台期，煤炭消费量开始波动下行，预计到2030年降至约38.7亿吨，占比降至46%。
