据央视新闻，据中国地震台网正式测定，9月17日21时41分在台湾台东县发生6.5级地震，震源深度10千米，震中位于北纬23.05度，东经121.21度。
台湾高铁发布公告，今日晚间云林到左营区间，部分列车延误，已派员处理中，受影响区间为南港至左营。
同时台北捷运也宣布，全线列车慢速行驶，以确保列车的安全，并立即按照标准流程进行列车慢速巡轨作业，暂无异常回报。此外，高雄捷运因地震影响，目前全线列车暂停营运。
