当地时间8月15日，伦敦希斯罗机场发布消息称，在与航司协商后，机场将现行的客流限制措施延长至10月29日。如果未来机场运营改善，可能会取消该限制。
7月12日，希思罗机场首席执行官约翰·霍兰-凯表示，因人手短缺，机场决定限制客流量。当前希思罗机场每日进站乘客人数为10万人。
