金山区吕巷镇的特色“皇母”蟠桃，以“香味、甜味、鲜味、回味”受到市民、游客青睐。今年，因各种原因，蟠桃核心区减产二分之一以上，且成熟期较往年推迟10天左右。但蟠桃个头和品相都好于去年，糖度也比去年高，平均糖度达到19度。8月初起批量采摘上市，将持续到8月中旬。
