这个词的确有混血的意思，但是大多情况下用来形容的是“杂交动物、杂交植物”，一般不用这个词来形容人！
mixed-blood
这个词的确可以用来形容人，并且还挺常见。

这个词虽然也是指混血儿，但却是十分不礼貌的！含有贬义！如果你当着混血儿的面称人家为half-breed / half-caste / half-blood，对方应该会以为你在骂ta！

这两个词用来形容混血儿，是没有问题的！
