7月21日，Tiktok官网宣布，平台正在推出新的字幕和翻译工具，以降低用户使用时的语言障碍。首批支持的语种包括英语、葡萄牙语、德语、印度尼西亚语、意大利语、韩语、普通话、西班牙语和土耳其语，并具有自动生成的字幕和文本贴纸翻译等功能。Tiktok表示，希望在未来几个月内扩大该工具的可用性。
