IT之家 6 月 7 日消息，早在 3 月份，谷歌就宣布 Chrome 是 macOS 上最快的浏览器，并通过了苹果自家的基准测试工具 Speedometer 的验证。
昨日，谷歌再次夸赞其浏览器，称 Mac 上的 Chrome 现在比 3 月份快了 20%，得分超过 360。
IT之家了解到，今年 3 月份，谷歌 Chrome 99 浏览器在Speedometer 中的得分是300，而Safari 得分为 277。
2020 年 11 月，谷歌发布了专门为苹果 M1 Mac 设计的 Chrome 浏览器，该版本的运行速度比 x86 版本通过 Rosetta 2 运行要快 66% 到 81%。当时的Speedometer 2.0 测试中，M1 Chrome 得分为 210，而标准 Chrome 得分为 116。
谷歌没有发布博客详细说明改进细节，不过在 Chrome 99 中，谷歌为其推出了ThinLTO 构建优化技术、V8 Sparkplug 编译器和简短的内置调用，因此性能大幅提升。
