根据外媒VGChartz估测，截至4月，在Xbox Series X|S与PS5的北美市场竞争中，后者销量暂时处于领先地位。
PS5和Xbox Series X|S均在2020年11月发售。截止2020年4月，PS5北美总销量估测为7,229,230台，Xbox Series X|S北美总销量估测为7,040,629，两者差距仅有188,601台，PS5处于领先地位。
在4月份，Xbox Series X|S北美单月销量领先，填补了128,449台销量差距。
