丝绸新城是高坪区打造的六大新城之一，地处“丝绸源点”、“中国丝绸第一镇”的都京镇，丝绸小镇规划面积4.97平方公里，建设面积约3.22平方公里。
目前正在建设中的丝绸小镇，原丝二厂正在发生翻天覆地的变化，同时新建了很多停车位，以后去这里停车更方便了。
