Strategy & Business Design Analyst

Role Description

As an Analyst in the Strategy & Business Design team, you’ll join a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment that exposes you to a variety of experiences across industries (Automotive, Consumer Products & Retail, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Insurance, Oil Gas & Chemical, TMT, etc.) disciplines, and geographies. You will work alongside industry-leading clients to help them make decisions and implement enhancements to their strategy, productivity, performance, and long-term profitability. You will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and communicate your findings to senior leaders.

As an Analyst in the Strategy & Business Design team, you are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy learning quickly to make an impact. You will be successful by demonstrating a breadth and depth of capabilities to take on a variety of business, technological and organizational challenges. Examples may include helping clients define their strategic direction based on analyzing structured and unstructured data; sensing market and technology trends to anticipate changes and make strategic choices; implementing new innovations and ventures; re-designing business capabilities; and architecting innovative operating models to drive organic growth. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross offering portfolio teams at Deloitte Consulting on end-to-end Digital, Analytics and Cloud transformations, to help some of the largest and most innovative organizations address their most complex and pressing business challenges, and deliver concrete results.

Qualifications and Candidate Requirements

Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst

Role Description

Few initial career opportunities provide the combination of accelerated learning and skill development, personal growth, challenges, and fast pace work environment that will be available to an Analyst within Monitor Deloitte's Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) team.

As an M&A team member, you will be given the opportunity to work across the M&A lifecycle to deliver advice and help our clients to execute across nearly every aspect of an M&A transaction.

- You will be given the opportunity to work across pre-deal aspects of a transaction from initial M&A strategy, through to target screening, deal due diligence, and deal negotiations.

- You will be given the opportunity to work across post-deal and post-closing aspects of a transaction including Day 1 Readiness, integration/separation, synergy realization etc.

- You will be given the opportunity to work with client senior management to drive entire Corp. Value through business restructuring and IPO support

- You will be given the opportunity to work with PE / VC to improve their portfolio through investment assessment and invested asset optimization
