4月3日凌晨6时，武汉市第一医院（武汉市中西医结合医院）派出一支31人的应急医疗队出发前往上海支援，其中5名医生、25名护士、1名院感专员，并配有1台监护仪、1台抢救车、1台AED（自动体外除颤器）。应急医疗队成立了临时党支部，由神经内科党支部书记邵卫担任临时党支部书记。队伍已于3日中午12时抵达上海。
