据央视新闻，当地时间18日，根据澳大利亚南澳州卫生部最新消息，该州出现首例乙脑死亡病例。该州目前已发现8例确诊病例，其中5人仍住院治疗，2人已出院，另有2例疑似病例。
据医学专家介绍，乙脑病毒不会在人与人之间传播，而是通过蚊虫叮咬传播。
