9月24日，市民郝先生告诉 新京报 ，其儿子于9月15日在沈阳理工大学寝室楼下被室友王某持刀杀害。据郝先生提供的死亡证明显示，其子死亡地点系学校宿舍区。郝先生称，案发前王某曾与其他室友发生矛盾。校方称发生矛盾后有联系王某及其家属。校方表示，王某行凶后当场被警方控制。
