2021年9月13日，江西省泰和县人民检察院依法以涉嫌故意杀人罪对“行李箱藏尸”案犯罪嫌疑人谢某批准逮捕。
2021年9月7日案发当天，吉安市人民检察院、泰和县人民检察院依法同步介入侦查，引导取证。目前，案件正在进一步侦查中。（江西省检察院微信公众号）
