新疆大剧院位于乌鲁木齐头屯河岸边，是丝绸之路·印象城第一阶段启动建设项目之一，总投资达17.6亿元，占地面积280亩，总建筑面积10万平方米。以"盛开的天山雪莲"为设计理念，成为别具风格的新疆文化艺术地标，可容纳2100人同时观看演出。被新疆维吾尔自治区列为十二五期间文化旅游产业重点项目。
