当地时间8月14日，据当地媒体报道，南非卫生产品监管局（SAHPRA）已批准在当地生产新冠病毒核酸快速检测试剂盒。
南非科技部长恩齐曼迪表示，在当地生产快速检测试剂盒将有助于减少南非对进口的依赖，并使南非和非洲其他国家更容易获得检测试剂盒。
据恩齐曼迪介绍，预计第一批试剂盒将于8月底前在当地市场上市。（总台记者 曲晟）
