为加快基因测序速度，云南省疾控中心紧急调运一台基因测序设备到瑞丽，设立临时基因测序实验室，并派出专业技术人员对检出的阳性样本进行新冠肺炎基因测序。目前，已完成7份阳性样本测序，结果表明，基因组序列与德尔塔（Delta）变异株高度同源，与相邻境外流行株高度同源。
