3D动画电影「八戒之天蓬下界」公开了一张概念海报，影片以猪八戒为主角，预计将在2021年上映。
影片由朱峰担任前期设计指导，李力持担任顾问导演，何冉昊担任总导演，86版猪八戒扮演者马德华老师亲自客串配音，讲述了一个“八戒成为八戒之前的故事”。
