6月12日，资本邦了解到，蔚来宣布智能电动旗舰SUV全新ES8已经获得欧盟整车型式认证(EWVTA)，标志着出口欧洲的ES8可以量产并在欧盟境内所有国家正式上牌注册。此前，蔚来于5月6日发布了挪威战略，首款车型全新ES8将于9月在挪威交付。
