5月26日，四川手机报记者从省政府新闻发布会获悉，四川省第七次全国人口普查主要数据正式发布，我省常住人口共8367.5万人，与2010年第六次人口普查8041.8万人相比，常住人口增加325.7万人，增长4.05%，位居全国第五。其中，成都市常住人口突破2000万人大关，达到2093.8万人。其余市（州）常住人口都在600万人以下。
