5月9日中午13点左右，网友爆料，在玉林市陆川县新洲桥头路口下去一点路段发生一起交通惨剧，一辆电动车和一辆小车发生撞车事故，电车驾驶员当场倒地不起，血流一地。
事发路段是一个十字路口，电车和小车碰撞具体原因，以官方调查为准。
