尽管索尼之前撤回了关闭PS3和PS Vita上的PS Store的决策，但是发行商Sometimes You透露，在PSV上发售新游戏的最终截止日期并未改变。
所有开发者需要最迟在7月12日前提交审核，而PSV在7月20日之后将不会有新游戏推出。有匿名的前索尼员工透露，由于PSV并未达成多项销售目标，公司将其视为一次失败，甚至考虑过在2016至2017年期间就停止相关支持。
