在准备婚车前，要和婚礼跟拍摄影、摄像师确认好，他们是否会自驾车辆。如果不，还要为摄影/摄像师准备一辆车。
这辆车应该在主婚车的前面，也就是头车。头车的后备箱一般要大，方便拍摄。
带头车不宜开太快，不然车队容易散。也不能开太慢，容易造成交通堵塞。可以找一个熟悉路线的人在副驾驶。
