据樊城区人民政府官网，3月10日，樊城区民政局发布公示，将太平店镇大冲村更名为肖庄村。
根据《国务院地名管理条例》《民政部地名管理实施细则》《襄阳市地名管理实施办法》的有关规定，经樊城区人民政府批准，太平店镇“大冲村”更名为“肖庄村”，现予以公告。
据了解，肖庄毗邻樊城一号公路沿线，肖庄四组建有肖庄农民革命纪念馆。
