在SIE公开PS5向下兼容的详情后，Sucker Punch宣布《对马岛之魂》可将存档数据转移至PS5，并借助PS5的Game Boost功能实现60FPS运行并获得更快的加载速度。
游戏将于10月16日更新1.1版本，包含包含了自定义装束套装、新游戏+、新奖杯与全新模式“战鬼奇谭”。其中新游戏+中会添加强力新护符、新坐骑、新神秘商人与全新染料等等。
