30日下午，六安特警一大队接指令称:一小区18楼楼顶有一男子欲跳楼轻生。接警后一大队火速赶往现场，在顶楼边缘发现欲轻生男子，民警安抚其情绪。终于经一个小时的耐心沟通，民警与辖区派出所所一起将该男子成功救下。
