英特尔明年将更新10代桌面端处理器，这代处理器代号为Comet Lake，而这次英特尔会更新出LGA1200插槽，据外媒泄露的草稿图看，似乎与LGA115x插座同样具有兼容性。
这似乎意味能兼容插槽LGA1156，LGA1155，LGA1150和LGA1151的CPU散热器，也都可以与LGA 1200插槽兼容。
预计英特尔将在2020年第二季度之前推出具有LGA1200插槽的处理器。
