交通方面，聚焦国际交往，加快建设海淀区重要功能区与首都机场、大兴国际机场间快速轨道交通系统，统筹清华园站和新机场站间南北地下直径线规划方案。
基于干线铁路、城际铁路便捷连接京津冀城市功能区；利用城市轨道交通连接市级铁路客运枢纽，利用京雄城际、京港台高铁，实现与雄安新区的交通联系。
