胶东国际机场位于青岛市所辖胶州市胶东街道办事处北，大沽河以西、东外环以东，胶济路和胶济客运专线之间。距胶州市中心约17.1公里，距青岛市中心约39公里。地铁8号线2020年下半年实现青岛北站至胶州北站通车，2021年全线竣工通车，去新机场更方便。
此外胶东国际机场，共规划停车位3800个，用来满足旅客日常需求。
