8月16日，二青会男子排球体校组半决赛打响。山东队3-0江苏队杀入决赛。
比赛开始后，队员始终贯彻教练员思路，压制对手，最终以25比22拿下首局。第二局对手调整战术，比分交替上升，进入二十分后，山东队保持清醒头脑，找到对手突破点，以25比22赢下第二局。
第三局队员士气高涨，以高水平的发挥压制对手，最终以25比23拿下比赛，最终3-0横扫对手，齐心合力杀入决赛。
