我们都知道"我也是"是Me too,

那为什么不说I too？

为什么有时候说Me too 也是错的

比如,

我不喜欢蛋糕,我也是

I don't like cake.

(X) me too.

为什么说Me too,而不说I too？

比如

I like cake.

() I too.

() me too.

为什么不是 I too？

me too,说完整了就是That applies to me, too.

that是代词,代指喜欢蛋糕这件事情

me too的意思是喜欢蛋糕这件事情也适用于我。

什么时候不能说Me too？

否定意思的时候

千万别说me too

比如

(X) me too

(V) me neither

解析

me neither, 可以理解为

↓

That applies to me, neither.

不喜欢巧克力这件事情，也适用于我

(但外国人不这么说,语法不对)

肯定意思句子中的

也,→单词用too

否定意思句子中的

也→单词用neither

此外

neither是一个本身就带否定意思的单词

比如

neither of us like cake.

我们都不喜欢蛋糕

He doesn't like cake, me neither.

他不喜欢蛋糕，我也不(喜欢蛋糕)。

He doesn't like cake and neither do I.

他不喜欢蛋糕，我也不喜欢(蛋糕)。

所以

【我也不喜欢蛋糕】不能说

neither=也不，

如果动词也是否定的(don't like)

句子就成了双重否定~

于是

(X) I don't like cake neither.

这个错误的句子按字面意思翻译就是

我也不不喜欢蛋糕→我也喜欢蛋糕

(双重否定变肯定)

正确表达

在动词是否定意思时，

neither就要换成→either

I don't like cake either

我也不喜欢蛋糕

总结一下，在表示"也"的时候

too→ 只会在肯定句

either →用在否定句

neither →用在肯定句中,表示否定意思

比如

【你不喜欢蛋糕，我也不喜欢】

You don't like cake. I don't like it either.

You don't like cake. Neither do I.
