细菌的结构要比病毒复杂的多，其实很多细菌就是单细胞生物。它有完整的细胞膜、细胞，甚至有些细菌还拥有细胞壁。细菌的遗传物质结构较稳定，可变异性没有病毒那么强烈，但如果遇到宇宙辐射、极端环境，也会有变异的几率。当然，细菌中有很多种类也能适应极端条件，能在极端情况下存活。
