张也，1968年5月28日出生于湖南长沙，毕业于中国音乐学院声乐系，中国女高音歌唱家，国家一级演员、中国音乐学院声乐歌剧系青年教师。1998年她因演唱《走进新时代》被中国大陆人民熟知。2006年1月成功举办个人独唱音乐会。2005荣获年度最佳演唱女歌手奖。2008年8月参加奥运会闭幕式演唱歌曲《今夜月明》
