而泔水养猪是专业性的，猪吃的主体是泔水(当然必须混合一定量的其它饲料，否则，生猪会因食盐中毒、黄曲霉素中毒而死)，里面混合了大量的洗洁精、牙签、鱼刺及骨头等，放置时间过长，发酸、发臭，滋生细菌，即使发酵、高温消毒，也不能完全杀灭，如黄曲霉素等。
