他是一位终生为道而生，武技超群，生途坎坷而武德超焯名震全川的武林教师前辈。朱永才（1873-1973）出生在清朝同治癸酉年间，世人们敬称他为“智函子”，居中江六十余年，乡里乡亲们都喜欢称他为朱老道。逝去在1973年八月十三日，享年一百岁。
