北京大学国家发展研究院院长姚洋
姚洋1964年生于西安，成长于江西农村。北京大学地理系学士(1986年)；北京大学管理科学中心硕士(1989年)；美国威斯康星大学-麦迪逊分校农业与应用经济学系博士(1996年)。2002年赴日本国际大学国际关系学院做访问教授。现为北京大学国家发展研究院教授，并兼任《经济学季刊》主编(北京大学中国经济研究中心主办)，天则经济研究所特邀研究员及西安外语学院丰佳管理学院特聘教授。2012年11月，姚洋接替周其仁担任北京大学国家发展研究院院长。
姚洋教授还是留美经济学会 (1998-1999年度理事)，美国经济学会，国际新制度经济学会，欧美同学会的会员。《经济学季刊》主编（2001－，北京大学中国经济研究中心主办），Agricultural Economics 副主编（2007－2010），China Economic Journal (2007－，北京大学中国经济研究中心主办)、《中国金融学》（2003－，四川大学主办）、《公共管理评论》（2003－，清华大学主办）、《世界经济文汇》（2005－，复旦大学主办）、Journal of Rural Cooperatives（2006－，希伯来大学主办） 学术委员会成员。
姚洋教授的研究领域为农村发展、农村劳动力市场和制度变迁。

Director,National School of Development at Peking University
Yao Yang, born in Xi’an and raised up in rural Jiangxi, is a professor and the director of National School of Development at Peking University and chief editor of China Economic Quarterly. B.S. of geography, Peking University, 1986; M.S. of economics, Peking University, 1989; Ph.D., Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1996. Yao is a research fellow at Unirule Institute and a specially appointed professor at Xi'an International Studies University. He received Sun Zhifang Economics Science Award in 2009, the first and second Pusan International Economics Award and Zhang Peigang Award for Outstanding Achivement in Development Economics in 2008. He was also commended as one of the best 10 professors of Peking University in 2006 and youth leader of 2008 by Southern People Weekly. Yao’s research focuses on rural development, rural labor market and institutional changes.
