2006-2008年任巴克莱资本中国研究主管，负责中国（包括香港）宏观经济和金融市场研究。此前就职于香港金融管理局十年，先后任经济研究处和中国内地事务处主管，负责经济，金融研究以及和内地金融合作事宜。1993 年—1998 年间就职于国际货币基金组织（IMF），任亚太部经济学家，负责亚洲新兴市场国家经济研究和政策咨询事务。曾获英国伯明翰大学经济学博士学位和货币金融硕士学位，天津南开大学经济学学士学位，并就读中国人民银行研究生部硕士研究生。
2006-2008: Manager of China Research of Barclays Capital, in charge of China (including Hong Kong) macroeconomics and financial market research. Before that, Mr. Peng has served in the Hong Kong Financial Management Bureau for ten years. During that time, Mr. Peng was the Manager of the Departments of Economic Research and Inner China Affairs, in charge of economic, financial research and inner China financial cooperation.
1993-1998: Economist of Asia-Pacific Department of IMF, in charge of economic research of emerging nations and policy consultation. Mr. Peng has earned both his PhD degree in Economics and Master degree in Monetary Finance from the University of Birmingham. He has earned a Bachelor degree in Economics from Nankai University. He also has studied in the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China as a Master student.
